What was the attitude of most Christian writers toward the philosophers of ancient Greece?
Some of the Christian writers would reflect on the ancient Greece, because the greeks were diligent people and they worked hard for whatever it was they strived for. They respected people like Socrates and Plato for they had good written work. Those two famous philosophers wouldn’t have been greatly acknowledged today, if it wasn’t for their passion to strive for answers. They dedicated all their life to seek answers to big philosophical questions. That’s why the attitude that most Christian writers gave, was a positive one, due to greeks being intelligent and diligent workers.
