Welcome back to my school essays, I hope you enjoy it and let’s begin!
There are a few possible reasons why voters may accept the riches of movie stars, but resent the riches of businessmen. One reason could be that movie stars are seen as entertainers who provide a form of escapism and pleasure for people. They are often admired for their talent, beauty, and charisma, and their wealth may be seen as a reward for their hard work and success.
On the other hand, businessmen are often associated with profit-seeking and exploitation. They may be seen as less deserving of their wealth, especially if their success is based on unethical practices or taking advantage of workers or consumers.
Additionally, the public perception of business and capitalism has been shaped by a history of corporate scandals and economic downturns. This has led to a general distrust of big corporations and their executives, and a belief that they are only interested in their own profit rather than the well-being of society as a whole.
In contrast, movie stars and other celebrities are often seen as more relatable and less threatening than big corporations. Their wealth may be seen as a result of their talent and hard work, rather than as a symbol of inequality or greed.
However, it is important to note that this dichotomy between movie stars and businessmen is not necessarily accurate or fair. Both groups can contribute to society in meaningful ways, and both can also engage in unethical or harmful behavior. It is important to judge individuals based on their actions, rather than on preconceived notions about their profession or status.
